The PROCETS 22nd Month meeting took place on November 2nd -3rd 2017. Besides the very interesting technical discussions and exploitation workshops that were held, the PROCETS partners had the opportunity to visit the AVANZARE pilot line.

PROCETS 12M meeting in Barcelona

PROCETS 12M meeting in Barcelona.

The PROCETS 12-months meeting was held on February 2nd-3rd, 2017 at the CPT department of the University of Barcelona, Spain. The projects’ progress with respect to all Deliverables was presented and technical meetings were also held. Furthermore, a detailed discussion took place with respect to the project’s innovation management actions. In addition, the partners had the opportunity to visit the CPT Department laboratories. Plans for the project continuation were thoroughly discussed.

Kick off meeting of H2020 project PROCETS in Brussels

Kick off meeting of H2020 project PROCETS in Brussels.

The PROCETS (PROtective composite Coatings via Electrodeposition and Thermal Spraying)  kick-off meeting (KOM) was held on 11 – 12 January, 2016 at the EC-RTD offices in Brussels. The meeting was attended by all the partners and by a representative of the European Commission (EC).

PROCETS, with project number 686135, is funded under the  topic NMP-02-2015: “Integration of novel nano materials into existing production lines” of European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.  PROCETS main target is to deliver protective coatings covering a wide range of applications such as automotive, aerospace, metal-working, oil and gas and cutting tools industries via thermal spray and electroplating methods by utilizing more environmental friendly materials, compared to the currently used.

During the meetings all issues related to the commencement, management, finance and technicalities of the PROCETS project were presented and discussed. The participants mostly focused on the technologies to be used, specifications of materials and methods, requirements of end users and industrial scenarios for the implementation of the project results. The partners engaged in technical discussions during the two days and were committed in the project tasks, as foreseen in the Grant Agreement.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 686135.
